Polishing
Polishing is a hybrid process that combines manual work with the use of machinery. It consists of various phases; it begins with the cleaning of the case and bracelet, using an ultrasonic cleaner that removes all dirt residues.
Once dry, all pieces are ready for the polishing phase, which is carried out using soft brushes over which specific pastes are applied.
As for satin finishing, special brushes made of metal wires are used, which, by rotating, produce very thin marks that make up the finish itself.

Revision
The overhaul involves the periodic maintenance of your watch; it is a process aimed at ensuring the perfect functioning of the watch, its perfect preservation over time, and compliance with the original technical and aesthetic specifications.
We recommend submitting your timepiece for periodic maintenance, at least once every 5 years, only at official laboratories authorized by the manufacturers, in order to avoid problems due to poor conservation quality.
It is a process composed of various phases:
1. Our watchmakers perform a precise examination of the watch, starting from the external parts to the internal ones and subjecting it to various tests that determine which interventions will need to be carried out.
2. In this phase, the bracelet is separated from the case, which is opened and stripped of its movement; the latter, in turn, is separated from the hands and the dial. The case and bracelet are transferred to another department where they will be polished.
3. The movement is disassembled into all its small parts and examined individually; where necessary, they are replaced while the others will be washed in an ultrasonic machine with specific solvents. Subsequently, the balance, the oscillating heart of the watch, is regulated using specific machinery.
4. Next, all the parts that make up the movement are reassembled, then the dial with the hands is reattached, which in turn is reinserted into the polished case. The case back is then closed and the crystal with its respective gaskets, which ensure the watch's water resistance, is reassembled.
5. At this stage, the watch must pass strict quality controls to ascertain the perfection of our work: Water resistance control, Running test, and a general Check. If all previous checks are passed, the watch is ready to be reunited with the bracelet and delivered to the customer, who will receive our official warranty valid for 2 years on the work performed, along with their timepiece.

To test the water resistance of each watch, machinery is used that can simulate the same conditions to which watches are subjected when submerged in water (both fresh and salt).
Our technicians place the watch out of the water, inside a hermetically sealed container, half-filled with water, which can accurately reproduce the desired immersion pressure, acting uniformly on the entire surface of the watch.
Once under pressure, the watch is submerged in water. If it is waterproof, it means that its internal pressure does not vary. If, however, leaks are detected, this indicates that the internal pressure is the same as that generated by the container, where the escape of small bubbles from the watch is observed; otherwise, its water resistance is confirmed.
A final test called "thermal shock" is then performed: this involves heating the watch on a special plate and then cooling it very quickly on another one.
Following the shock experienced by the watch, any water ingress into it is checked.
DIY tips
• If an automatic watch is not worn for a few days – usually 24/36 hours – it will stop; it is therefore necessary to manually wind it using the winding crown before wearing it again and restarting it.
• To clean a watch, use a simple soft cloth without adding any type of liquid – e.g. alcohol – or solvent.
• We recommend periodically washing your watch with water, soap, and a soft brush – if suitable for getting wet.
• Make sure the watch is rinsed with fresh water after contact with seawater to remove any salt residue.
• Always ensure that the winding crown and any other pushers are securely closed to guarantee water resistance.
• In case of glass breakage, immediately unscrew the crown and stop the watch's movement to prevent further damage.
• In case of water ingress, especially saltwater which is more damaging than freshwater, immediately visible through the formation of condensation on the glass, it is advisable to unscrew the winding crown, immediately stopping the watch's operation, and bring it to our laboratory as soon as possible to avoid further damage and rust formation.
